GOD'S HAND

"A Miracle She Never Saw Coming"

It was sunset, that time of the day when the sky is orange as if a paint brush had been rinsed in it. A woman was in dire need of food for her hunger stricken family. She managed to provide breakfast but the day was wearing off and they had not even had lunch, not to say dinner. Then she cried to a neighbor who pitied her and gave her a thousand naira note.

Hurriedly, she went to a super market that sell varieties. She got in, picked a few things and was heading to the payment booth when the spirit of God told her to go back and pick everything on the shelf. She got confused but she eventually obeyed, rolled out a cart and picked everything on the shelf. Fear was settling in but she kept calm and trusted God. Then again the spirit asked her to pick everything on another shelf. She became scared to death, she only had enough to buy just a few things and she had already picked every good on a shelf and now God wants her to pick everything on another shelf without having more than a thousand naira? How would she get away with all this things when she is surrounded with cameras and security guards. She sighed and reluctantly obeyed God the second time.

Again the spirit whispered to her to pick everything on a 3rd shelf and a 4th and a 5th. Ah!! And a 6th and 7th shelf. This woman wanted to faint, at a point she felt like abandoning everything and run away. She looked left and right, up and down, front and back; but nobody noticed her, everyone was busy going about their business. She thought she was invincible, or a ghost. She wanted to be sure, so she patted a man in the back and said "hello", the man turned to her and unsurprisingly replied "hi you" with a smile. She grinned a faint smile back at him, then muttered to herself "everything is real! I'm in trouble today."

Sweating profusely, she comported herself and packed everything from seven shelves. Then she rolled everything to the booths where she's to pay. The goods were so much that she had to get people to help her push the carts. While she did that, the spirit again told her to stay at the 7th booth. But on getting there, she saw it was empty and nobody was there to attend to anybody, so she moved the things to the 3rd booth with shorter queue. Immediately, the spirit growled at her not to be stupid "Stay at the 7th booth," the spirit gingerly muttered to her. Again she thought of running away but on a second thought she gave up and quietly obeyed the words of the spirit being.

It was 6:55pm, she patiently waited for a miracle she didn't see coming. At exactly 7pm, a voice said loudly from the speakers, "good evening everyone, it is exactly 7years today that this supermarket was established and the management have randomly decided by lot that whoever is at the 7th payment booth, at exactly 7pm today, with whatever amount of goods, will have those goods given to him/her for free." And behold, this woman that the spirit of God had been ministering to, was the only one on the 7th booth, at exactly 7pm, with different kinds of goods(including those she did not think she would buy in a year) from 7 shelves.

She couldn't believe her eyes and ears. She fell to her face and thanked God with tears in her eyes for the miracle she never saw coming. Her goods were so much that the supermarket vehicle was used to convey them to her home.

She was obedient and faithful, and God intervened miraculously; who would see that coming!!

LESSON:- When God cooks, you don't see smoke. Never doubt God's Hand.
