I finished my national youth service recently, and in the spirit of POP, I went on instagram in search of POP pictures I can like, or probably repost. I am a sucker for captions, so I was on the lookout.( P.s this is the only time I will admit to myself that I was a corp member cos am not very patriotic). I saw quite a number of cool and colorful pictures after refreshing and refreshing, ones I might have clicked the like button for. However I noticed a terrible trend, I mean a sickening trend. This trend is not peculiar to ex corp member pictures, this trend is something have constantly noticed with social media post over the years so I think it is high time I wrote about it.
