MY CANDID THOUGHTS !!! (Part 2)

I have always wondered why things don't turn out the way we so wish. At times, we have great expectations at a very tender age but when we grow a little older, we realise its only a mere child's dream. Well, in all honesty, life is built in such a way that we'll only keep asking questions, we'll perhaps ask more than we can answer but in all, our hope is built on precepts laid down for us by our predecessor, in a way! All that a man is, is his experience from, perhaps his background, and what he got exposed to in the course of his journey through life. However fast, we want things to be achieved, they will always play out in their own time. We have been told, be serious, face your studies, pass your exams, get a very good result and you get a good job and get a very good life. Well, some will say, that's not their own case, as they were told something different, since their own path wasn't in that line (I.e formal school education). But, the same theme...

MY CANDID THOUGHTS!!!

Really, I think everything is just complicated. I see people around, I see them talk to the people in their circle, but in a way, the person that knows them, knows someone that knows you. Then I  conclude, life is like a net and we all are wired in it. Life is a small place, I see loads of people and I think aren't we too much? You know when you see too many people and you don't know any of them. Well, I think God has a point to prove there. I kept wondering if one can ever do a thing and get away with it, well, I still think, either now or later all action or inaction will get a just recompense. My candid thought is that, i wish we are a little smaller than this, like less populated than this, so that I can get to meet everyone and be everybody's friend. But, if wishes were horses even beggars would ride too. I think God is indeed more than man in every way. Life is designed in a way that the more questions we ask, the more questions it birthed, and the path tend to...

It’s   the end of 2017, oh no no! You are reading this in 2018. Anyways, this season is usually characterized with a lot of talks, songs and pictures that depict the mood and set the pace for a new year and a new beginning. This period of the year, people are more inclined to lending their voices and sharing their stories (lol that’s exactly what I am doing). Some folks either close or not so close to you, might want to give advice on what you should or shouldn’t be doing come 2018, before you give a listening ear to such advice please read. It was in a past not so long ago, I was a17 year old ss3 student in a, not too promising secondary school. I had a lot of questions and doubt, but that is under...

The Accolades of Books

The rudiments of life is in books!!! Available only to those who go the extra With books there occurs an implosion of knowledge, insights, impartation of new horizons built in between pages and sheets that confines. 'We are in the hands of the author who's leading us along, taking us through twists and turns We stay in our seats, we turn the pages, happily enslaved by the suspense' Books provides us with good moments that connects us to a higher realm of knowledge It is chiefly through books that we enjoy intercourse with superior minds Books provides a link between generations It serves as an ultimate guide to the unborn generation It provides links between minds and thoughts The greatest instructor ever, creates sensation that fills the air bringing every word to a state of experience Books teaches, it exposes, it influences, it creates, it motivates, it enriches and leads into the past world and happening A mind enlarges by it's pages A reader of ma...

MY UNFORGETTABLE CHRISTMAS EXPERIENCE 24th Dec, early 2000s..... It was early in the morning around 7am, a time when the sky is rough with blue as if a 4years old had just painted on a white cardboard. Christmas was around the corner, and as the usual order of things, the neighborhood was noisy with lots of chicken crying for mercy. We were still young, and you know how young ones can be so passionate about Christmas chicken. Mother was going out for one more shopping before Christmas, she woke my brother and I to check on the chicken she bought some days earlier and warned us not to tamper with them, (mothers! they always know when something big is about to happen, they just don't know what, when, where and how it'll happen). All six of them were kept in a temporary home built for them at the backyard; on getting there we found one of the chicken looking sober as if it knew what will soon befall them. My brother had a thing for animals, he couldn't bare th...

THE MYSTERIOUS PEOPLE YOU SEE AT NIGHTCLUBS  (COMEDIC) If you're regular at nightclubs, you would know it's like a seasonal movie with different episodes of people in there.  The groovers, drunkards, gladiators, onlookers, broke, clueless, and even Jonahs!! Now, these calibers of people are extremely exceptional with their sporadic display, especially when they're 'high' as we usually call it in this part of the world. There are some that do not need the devil's mouthwash(alcohol), or other high-lifters to be high, when they step into the club, the spirit of highness bestow upon them and they would start acting like the most high!!  Let's go on a ride, I'll take the characters one after the other, but the funny thing is that you could fall in a category!!  GROOVERS There's a reason why I'm starting with this characters, and it's simply because they are (or so they feel) the reason for the gathering. You see a...

#EPL #Week15 #5 things we learnt this past week on the Epl.

Welcome. Gather round. Sit tight. The English Premier league never fails to live up to the hype every match day, and match day 15 wasn’t a difference really. Saturday started with a 3-1 win for Chelsea, as they took Newcastle to the cleaners, and ended with a 1-3 win for Manchester united, who had David De gea in top form. Liverpool went rogue all over Brighton, with Lewis Dunk scoring yet another own goal. On Sunday, while Southampton managed to hold Bournemouth to a 1-1 draw – courtesy at here Charlie Austin equalizer – there was yet another comeback for the citizens who were made to work extra hard for the three points at home to West ham. But what are the things we learnt this past week on the Epl. Enjoy! David, Our Saviour.   If there was any argument as to who the best goal keeper in the world is at the moment, former Atletico madrid shot stopper, David De gea, has turned the jury to his side after his world class performance against the Gooners. The Spain ...
